They are going to have to hit this one over the fences or it’ll just be a waste of time and money. TP, as far as I’m concerned, was done right the first time.

So much of the production combines to make it the artistic statement that it is; the location (Portmeirion), the look of the times (the late-60s look of the original just adds to the charm rather than seems dated) and the considerable personality of PMcG, for whom this was a very personal project, the crude (for these days) SFX. TP just *is*.

My hopes are high, my expectations, low.
