Barack Obama drew a record crowd of 75,000 people to Waterfront Park in Portland. We were fortunate to experience this historical event. He is a wonderful speaker and truly inspirational.
“Wow, wow, wow,” Obama said as he surveyed the audience. “We have had a lot of rallies. This is the most spectacular setting, the most spectacular crowd we have had this entire campaign.”
You can see us in this picture! We arrived at 10:00am for the Rally that started at 2:30pm to be able to be up close to the stage.
